Autumn 2017 Swimming Performance:


By the end of KS2 the expectation for swimming is that pupils can swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of a least 25m. Pupils should be able to use a range of strokes effectively and perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations. 


In 2017 - 86% of pupils achieved the expected standard in swimming. 

57% of pupils achieved 25m.

28% of pupils achieved 50m.
