COVID-19 Information

What to do if your child or someone in your household develops symptoms of COVID-19

 

If your child, or someone in your household develops the following symptoms of COVID-19 please remain at home and either telephone or email the school office to inform us:

 

  • A high temperature
  • A new continuous cough - this means coughing a lot for more than an hour or 3 or more coughing episodes in a 24 hour period 
  • A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste

The individual who is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 will need to have a test, you can access a COVID-19 test by either phoning 119 or booking online at www.nhs.uk/ask-for-a-coronavirus-test 

 

If you are struggling to book a test please keep trying as more slots are released throughout each day. If you continue to experience problems with obtaining an appointment for a test and are unable to book a test please contact us and we will do our best to assist you.

You will need to have a confirmed negative test result before your child will be allowed to return to school.
